OceanBlue Hervey Bay

The OceanBlue project in Hervey Bay, developed by The Seymour Group in partnership with Watpac Property, is a 174 lot residential project one street back from the beach and bordering Point Vernon at Hervey Bay.

Marketplace Communications developed the strategy to launch and market the OceanBlue marina project at Hervey Bay. Over a period of 18 months we have delivered ongoing services as part of an integrated campaign incorporating community consultation, media relations, naming, branding and logo design, collateral development, advertising, and website development.

The key deliverables for the website redevelopment were:

• Enhancement of the overall look and feel of the website
• Provision of a Content Management system that was integrated with certain areas of the site such as the MasterPlan, Price List, Project Stages, News/Media and Newsletter
• Integration of a future Content Management systems that can be modified to manage the remaining content within the site
• Inclusion of a dynamic flash map on the Now Selling area of the website which visually illustrates each stage within the project and on mouse over display specific information to the stage
• Maintenance of the optimisation required to achieve high rankings in the major search engines.
