Pat McGuire

Managing Director

Pat has more than 25 years of public relations, issues management, community consultation and marketing experience. He founded MPC in 1987 after leaving the State Government where he was a Director in the Premier’s Department, responsible for Government Advertising and Marketing Campaigns. Pat has also had appointments as the Queensland General Manager for J Walter Thompson Advertising and John Singleton Advertising. He has worked with and provided strategic counsel for significant projects for clients including Lend Lease, South Bank Corporation, Multiplex, Sun-Water, Stanwell, Clayton Utz and McCaffertys. Pat is a former journalist, with past appointments including roles at The Courier-Mail, Australian Associated Press and the ABC in Canberra. He has also worked as a political correspondent and as a television reporter in Canberra.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Undergraduate Arts/Law Degree – University of Queensland
